In the 10th minute Osvaldo Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Lewkowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Osvaldo Bernat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stellenbosch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th minute, Witalis Hludzenski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 20 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Bernat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Lewkowicz. FC Kamienica Polska's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Bernat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 25th match minute, Stellenbosch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mao Zhen to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Bernat scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Lewkowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Bernat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Marian Lewkowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th match minute, FC Kamienica Polska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Wysocki to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Stellenbosch were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Bernat to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Kamienica Polska's Maciej Wysocki got a free kick in the 61st minute. Stellenbosch made a substitution. Gerke Krupp replaced Luca Savini. Stellenbosch's Flóki Cabezudo was substituted for Osvaldo Bernat. Marian Lewkowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flóki Cabezudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Stellenbosch were awarded a corner. Laureano Gora went to the cornerflag to take it. Chi-Chi Legay made a great header on Stellenbosch's corner, it was just that FC Kamienica Polska's Marian Lewkowicz managed to reach the ball for a save. Szymon Banaszak took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Pelayo. Pedro Pelayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Mao Zhen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marian Lewkowicz having to make a save. The supporters of Stellenbosch booed when FC Kamienica Polska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Wyrostek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flóki Cabezudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Lewkowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The FC Kamienica Polska supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stellenbosch's performance. The match ended with a win for Stellenbosch.
