Santiago Toli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Santiago Toli came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Lino Rios. But to his dismay, Lino Rios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Kirchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Rios to make the kick off. Lino Rios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santiago Toli came out and tried to block the shot, but Lino Rios slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 51st minute. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Germano Bettencourt struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute.
