Emanuel Obafuso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Laureano Matia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th minute Carmelo Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Frisco hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Tiniebra in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 minutes Racing Club【LBF】's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carmelo Tiniebra who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Lε COCO SρσяtiV's corner Joar Hammarström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cláudio Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute, Joar Hammarström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lε COCO SρσяtiV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cláudio Taffarel came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Carmelo Tiniebra. But to his dismay, Carmelo Tiniebra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Carmelo Tiniebra got a free kick in the 21st minute. Emanuel Obafuso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Laureano Matia made a huge save. Sérgio Ramos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Tiniebra in the 25th minute of play. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's attentive Henrik Stor managed to snatch the ball when Samuel Frisco made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Manuel Marchidan scored to the left of an out of position Laureano Matia, making the score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Racing Club【LBF】's Samuel Frisco got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Racing Club【LBF】's Emanuel Obafuso, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club【LBF】. A collision led to Racing Club【LBF】 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sérgio Ramos hit a great ball. Laureano Matia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Marchidan in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Carmelo Tiniebra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Taffarel. Racing Club【LBF】's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Tiniebra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Tiniebra in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Tiniebra was the one to do the kick off. Racing Club【LBF】's Cláudio Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club【LBF】 from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Taffarel was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Carmelo Tiniebra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Laureano Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Obafuso in the 62nd minute of play. He walked away shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Carmelo Tiniebra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cláudio Taffarel. The goal made the score 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Tiniebra in the 72nd minute of play forced Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Racing Club【LBF】's Carolo Chuse got a free kick in the 74th minute. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Geraldo Bezerra was substituted for Carmelo Tiniebra. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lε COCO SρσяtiV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
