Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Vladimír Šmicer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Racing Club【LBF】's Cláudio Taffarel did a great save. Cláudio Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Fenomeno notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Racing Club【LBF】's Cláudio Taffarel. Cláudio Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ramirez in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldão Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Ronaldão Fenomeno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Niceto Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Ronaldão Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldão Fenomeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Racing Club【LBF】's Manuel Marchidan in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Obafuso ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Racing Club【LBF】's Emanuel Obafuso to fire away a dangerous shot which Mustafa Arif Devrim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Ronaldão Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Taffarel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Niceto Ramirez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Taffarel. Racing Club【LBF】's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Ramirez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.

Carolo Chuse hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Niceto Ramirez might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Ramirez ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Niceto Ramirez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Taffarel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronaldão Fenomeno had several of the Racing Club【LBF】's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Cláudio Taffarel as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cláudio Taffarel was a little too slow when Ronaldão Fenomeno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-7. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 made a substitution. Octavio Mogel replaced Ariel Rey. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Ma Xiang Yang was substituted for Ronaldão Fenomeno. Cláudio Taffarel came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Melih-Hamza Joanesarson. But to his dismay, Melih-Hamza Joanesarson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. After 73 played minutes RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Pirlo. 75 minutes into the match, Emanuel Obafuso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Arif Devrim. After a rather tough play, Racing Club【LBF】's Carolo Chuse got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Ma Xiang Yang came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ma Xiang Yang couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melih-Hamza Joanesarson in the 86th minute of play forced Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Melih-Hamza Joanesarson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Racing Club【LBF】 defense, Ma Xiang Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cláudio Taffarel. The Racing Club【LBF】 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cláudio Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Samuel Frisco made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alejo Galoer.
