Teofilo Federigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palermo's Teofilo Federigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Rodolfo Quito put in a rough tackle. In the 24th minute Jacinto Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Moises Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacaboke Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Hotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Federigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 28 minutes, Inocencio Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacaboke Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Moises Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Chacaboke Juniors booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Bazkoare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chacaboke Juniors's Jesus Hermon got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner led to Chacaboke Juniors's Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Teofilo Federigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Maxin in the 67th minute of play. Chacaboke Juniors were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Palermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Maxin took the corner. Chacaboke Juniors's Esteban Maxin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teofilo Federigo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Hondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Esteban Maxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Esteban Maxin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Federigo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Maxin in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Federigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chacaboke Juniors's Esteban Maxin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
