Angel Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Bertol in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Urbano Benvido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Comizzo having to interfere. Chacaboke Juniors's Burak Krawczyk pulled a muscle in his back after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 59 minutes, Federico Gil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Atlanta and the Chacaboke Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chacaboke Juniors's Esteban Maxin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C. A. Atlanta. If Eliseo Sasoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Inocencio Ramirez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacaboke Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Atlanta the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Chacaboke Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Sasoin in the 92nd minute of play forced Chacaboke Juniors's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
