Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicanor Gaufred got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Julian Birila. In the 3rd minute Desiderio Ostargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Desiderio Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Baldomiro Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Godoy in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Lekubegi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Ostargi in the 10th minute of the match. If Miguel Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Godoy in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Godoy came free, but Enrique Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Godoy scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Lekubegi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25thth minute of the game Miguel Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wen Xiang Mo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Aristides Etor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Ioritz in the 34th minute. In the 34th minute, Palermo's Santos Ioritz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aristides Etor. Aristides Etor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The 1989 Blxsk fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when 1989 Blxsk's Miguel Godoy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Godoy in the 41st minute of play. When Baldomiro Eutor was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Baldomiro Eutor hit a great ball. Celestino Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Lekubegi having to interfere. The Palermo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 1989 Blxsk were winning 1-3.

Desiderio Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Enrique Lekubegi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Desiderio Ostargi in the 63rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Wen Xiang Mo put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Enrique Lekubegi. Enrique Lekubegi made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Miguel Godoy sent off a good shot on target. Enrique Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by 1989 Blxsk's Desiderio Ostargi. But to his dismay, Desiderio Ostargi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Godoy in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Lekubegi saved Palermo from getting behind. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palermo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Desiderio Ostargi was slow to take the kick. During this time 1989 Blxsk's players had a chance to rest. Santos Ioritz's late challenge caught a 1989 Blxsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Ioritz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Ioritz to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Celestino Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Enrique Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by 1989 Blxsk's Miguel Godoy. But to his dismay, Miguel Godoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Julian Birila got a free kick in the 95th minute. The supporters of 1989 Blxsk booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Eguen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Desiderio Ostargi came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the 1989 Blxsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Ostargi couldn't finish the play. 1989 Blxsk's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
