Jailson Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

If Alex Sági had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Walmyr Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evert Offendahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. The supporters of AVAÍ F.C. booed when The Alliance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball.
