The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Carasova got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Băbescu. Inocencio Guter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Adrian Sima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tratayén FC's zone, Gigi Stamatiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Pancho came out of the goal and Gigi Stamatiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grigore Dragomiroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Baltasar Aurre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Sima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Alin Ciocârlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Pancho skillfully saved the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Carasova's Gigi Stamatiu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Pancho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrian Sima made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cristian Cefero sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Tratayén FC booed when Carasova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Morozan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Inocencio Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tratayén FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Guter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tratayén FC's Inocencio Guter in the 45th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Adrian Sima was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Carasova through an amazing save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Avram Gliga made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Avram Gliga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Pancho was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Avram Gliga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adrian Sima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Emanuel Băbescu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 88th match minute, Carasova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Morozan to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carasova's goalkeeper Adrian Sima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute of the match, Gavril Morozan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomas Pancho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
