The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM. Radu Miheș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxim Strugure in the 18th minute. Lucian Voinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Radu Miheș was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Petre Benga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Dan Gavruță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- the free kick. In the 38th minute of the match, Petre Benga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Radu Miheș saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Petre Benga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radu Miheș came out and tried to block the shot, but Petre Benga slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 44th minute. Maxim Strugure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Miheș having to interfere. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Petre Benga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Radu Miheș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Strugure in the 91st minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
