Romo Ungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Dei in the 28th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Blanco Lambarida sped through Titanes Mayas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mías Marin. Roberto Elija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mías Marin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blanco Lambarida's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When Amado Dei came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Titanes Mayas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Dei couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes Inter de Guayaquil FC got a freekick which was hit by Blanco Lambarida. Mías Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blanco Lambarida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Depino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Titanes Mayas from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Vicente Depino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mías Marin narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
