The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filippo Cino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manu Rosseels read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Máté Kristóf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bélkő SE's György Kaszás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babacar Sylla in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bélkő SE defense, Babacar Sylla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of György Kaszás. The Bélkő SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that György Kaszás should have stopped the shot. Bélkő SE's György Kaszás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Owsiak in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Alexander Van Hautvinck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Alpina FC got a freekick which was hit by Ief Cromefeldt. 34 minutes into the match, Bélkő SE's goal looked a bit too open when Hermenegildo Castilho came free, but György Kaszás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bélkő SE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfréd Nyitrai in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alfréd Nyitrai got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manu Rosseels quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. György Kaszás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermenegildo Castilho in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filippo Cino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Alfréd Nyitrai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dirk Damman came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Alpina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirk Damman couldn't finish the play. György Kaszás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermenegildo Castilho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Miklós Toldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manu Rosseels was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Alexander Van Hautvinck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but György Kaszás made a huge save. A collision led to Bélkő SE getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ádám Földesi hit a great ball. A hard shot by Dirk Damman from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got György Kaszás's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. György Kaszás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermenegildo Castilho in the 67th minute of play. Bélkő SE's György Kaszás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Van Hautvinck in the 69th minute of play. Dirk Damman came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and György Kaszás could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dirk Damman got free with György Kaszás in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manu Rosseels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miklós Toldi in the 79th minute of play. Filippo Cino took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manu Rosseels. Manu Rosseels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alpina FC's Alfons Van Mellaert was substituted for Dirk Damman. Alpina FC's Daniel Alves was substituted for Babacar Sylla. After 85 played minutes Bélkő SE got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián Szőnyi. Alfons Van Mellaert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but György Kaszás made a huge save. György Kaszás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Van Hautvinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Alexander Van Hautvinck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bélkő SE's György Kaszás was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Alpina FC were awarded a corner. Bastian Vercasteren went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bastian Vercasteren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bélkő SE's György Kaszás did a great save. After a rather tough play, Alpina FC's Alexander Van Hautvinck got a free kick in the 89th minute. Manu Rosseels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máté Kristóf in the 91st minute of play. Alfons Van Mellaert's late challenge caught a Bélkő SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfons Van Mellaert helped the player get up and apologised. Alfons Van Mellaert hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Alpina FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bélkő SE had won, even though Alpina FC had held more of the ball.
