The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hong Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Millot in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Honorio Endira replaced Gao Chuan. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Pablo Sánchez was substituted for Alan Marinelli. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo-Pedro Poy to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CS La Libertad getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when Club Atlético Lea Papá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nahuel Molina didn't get a good kick on the ball. CS La Libertad were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Club Atlético Lea Papá's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mainor Coronado took the corner. Aldo-Pedro Poy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The CS La Libertad supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atlético Lea Papá's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atlético Lea Papá.
