Jim Patton might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Frisco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jim Patton ran back to his position shaking his head. Ubaldo Frisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonzo Wolfe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Lamberto to strike the kick off in the second half. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Dalmai in the 52nd minute of play. Dillon McDonough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute.
