The Gremio NG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fábio Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. Wiliam Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. Fábio Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Perez in the 6th minute of play. Fábio Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiliam Perez went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Júnior Quintana hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Atlético Capixaba were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Gremio NG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shi Tian Kuan took the corner. The corner led Atlético Capixaba's Shi Tian Kuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Fábio Pinheiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Perez in the 14th minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Wiliam Perez notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro. Fábio Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fábio Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Perez in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Wiliam Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Perez in the 26th minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Wiliam Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fábio Pinheiro was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Júnior Quintana hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito got control of the ball when Dino do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fábio Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Botelho in the 39th minute of the match. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 42nd minute of play. Sandrinho Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandrinho Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Sandrinho Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wiliam Perez made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Wiliam Perez lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Fábio Pinheiro. Shi Tian Kuan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Fábio Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Capixaba. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Gremio NG from getting a goal against them. Faustão Sá was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Peder Ferro replaced Cristóvão Varela. Atlético Capixaba's Otto Fesik was substituted for Wiliam Perez. Atlético Capixaba's Fu Jun Feng was substituted for Shi Tian Kuan. Raimundo Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles de Brito having to interfere. Fábio Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Cauan Botelho sent off a good shot on target. Otto Fesik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Otto Fesik fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fábio Pinheiro, passed just outside the right post. With an all-out effort, Atlético Capixaba's Fábio Pinheiro threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Otto Fesik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Gremio NG getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Silvério Diniz hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Fábio Pinheiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 85 minutes into the match, Otto Fesik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fábio Pinheiro. Gremio NG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto Fesik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Otto Fesik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fábio Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Otto Fesik made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Fesik in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Gremio NG supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atlético Capixaba's performance. The match ended with a win for Atlético Capixaba.
