Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júnior Quintana kicked off to start the match. Fábio Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Bezerros EC's Kléber Paiva. But to his dismay, Kléber Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fábio Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bezerros EC's Claudinho do Vale in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gremio NG's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Gremio NG's Dino do Vale got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Clóvis Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gremio NG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kléber Paiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Bezerros EC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Kléber Paiva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fábio Pinheiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 23 minutes into the match, Claudinho do Vale notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro. Fábio Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Bezerros EC booed when Gremio NG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bezerros EC's Clóvis Camargo in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gremio NG's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Inácio Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho do Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fábio Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Camargo in the 51st minute of play. When Clóvis Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Bezerros EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Camargo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Claudinho do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bezerros EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fábio Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Bezerros EC's Fábio Pinheiro threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clóvis Camargo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bezerros EC's Clóvis Camargo in the 69th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fábio Pinheiro was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gremio NG through an amazing save. In the 69th play minute Clóvis Camargo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fábio Pinheiro. 0-3. Júnior Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Bezerros EC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alex Arantes hit a great ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gremio NG's goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Bezerros EC's Claudinho do Vale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fábio Pinheiro. That made the score 0-4 after 82 minutes of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Claudinho do Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bezerros EC's Donato Ceresso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fábio Pinheiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dino do Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fernando Peixoto having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio NG's zone, Clóvis Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Pinheiro came out of the goal and Clóvis Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bezerros EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
