Alistair Holbrook was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alistair Holbrook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Cordeara in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Karamázov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iván Karamazov to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Karamázov's Ahmet Ege Nesefi got a free kick in the 25th minute. A collision led to Senegal getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rueben Pettifer hit a great ball. Alistair Holbrook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Cordeara in the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Cordeara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alistair Holbrook was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Alistair Holbrook stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Cordeara's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Tom Page hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Senegal's Dan Bromley got a free kick in the 35th minute. Karamázov's Braulio Uhin suffered a concussion in the 40th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Karamázov's Placido Goi was substituted for Braulio Uhin. Tom Page hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Tom Page hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Karamázov's Aureliano Cordeara, in the 48th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Karamázov. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Goi to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Placido Goi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alistair Holbrook. Placido Goi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Goi in the 57th minute of play forced Senegal's goalkeeper Alistair Holbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alistair Holbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Cordeara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Ege Nesefi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Rueben Pettifer fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Senegal's protests and gave Rueben Pettifer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Rueben Pettifer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alistair Holbrook made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Goi in the 79th minute. A collision led to Senegal getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Rueben Pettifer hit a great ball.
