Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Nurettin started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ali Nurettin scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Tilea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nurettin in the 8th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Ali Nurettin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Ali Nurettin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Nurettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nurettin in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ali Nurettin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea. Gigel Tilea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ali Nurettin scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Tilea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ali Nurettin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Nurettin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Tilea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jalmari Mikkonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Nicolae Hizo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Petruț Mircescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gigel Tilea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nurettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, Ali Nurettin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Nurettin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jalmari Mikkonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nurettin in the 54th minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Tilea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nurettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jalmari Mikkonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Ionete in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ali Nurettin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigel Tilea was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Petruț Mircescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gigel Tilea made a huge save. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Codrin Ionete hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Nurettin. Jalmari Mikkonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Dichiseanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a left leg Gigel Tilea saved Academia Rio from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigel Tilea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petruț Mircescu. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nurettin in the 78th minute of play. Jalmari Mikkonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Şimonca, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Franco Vázquez was substituted for Cristian Gallo. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Emanuel Herlea was substituted for Adan Umea. Pinner Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Penalty! The supporters of Academia Rio booed when Pinner Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Gârniceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pinner Cluj-Napoca's zone, Virgil Şimonca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jalmari Mikkonen came out of the goal and Virgil Şimonca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Academia Rio supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pinner Cluj-Napoca's performance. The match ended with a win for Pinner Cluj-Napoca.
