Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Nurettin started the match with the kick off. Jalmari Mikkonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Del Piero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nurettin came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match Pinner Cluj-Napoca got a corner. A4p FC Gad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Gallo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 7 minutes into the game, Ali Nurettin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Glenn Fyfe. Ali Nurettin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jalmari Mikkonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in A4p FC Gad's zone, Ali Nurettin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal and Ali Nurettin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glenn Fyfe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Nurettin's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Romeo Vlas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Glenn Fyfe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jalmari Mikkonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jalmari Mikkonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Nurettin. Jalmari Mikkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Batistuta in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Del Piero came free, but Jalmari Mikkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to A4p FC Gad getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Olle Olsson hit a great ball. In the 41st match minute, Pinner Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Mircescu to maneuver through the defense. Ali Nurettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nurettin in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, James Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jalmari Mikkonen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and James Batistuta made a kick off. A4p FC Gad were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Pinner Cluj-Napoca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcin Pachucki took the corner. After taking down the ball on A4p FC Gad's corner Marcin Pachucki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jalmari Mikkonen quite easily take care of the ball. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nurettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Glenn Fyfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nurettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc was substituted for James Batistuta. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Adam Vasilache was substituted for Petruț Mircescu. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Flavius Cândroveanu replaced Alessandro Del Piero. With a little luck, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen got control of the ball when Gică Busuioc tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Vasilache came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Gică Busuioc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Cândroveanu in the 89th minute of play forced Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Jalmari Mikkonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pinner Cluj-Napoca booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gez Mason didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Franco Vázquez was substituted for Cristian Gallo.
