The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Niculae Podgoreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tristan Falco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Maci -MM-'s Igor Czapski got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dieter Nisipeanu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Igor Czapski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tristan Falco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xander-Paul De Coster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Maci -MM-'s zone, Niculae Podgoreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Falco came out of the goal and Niculae Podgoreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When -BZF- Viper eSports's Niculae Podgoreanu in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Maci -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Maci -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niculae Podgoreanu was slow to take the kick. During this time -BZF- Viper eSports's players had a chance to rest. -BZF- Viper eSports's Niculae Podgoreanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tristan Falco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Silviu Lung came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr. But to his dismay, Sami Zübeyr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Silviu Lung was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sami Zübeyr showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 46th minute of play forced -BZF- Viper eSports's goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silviu Lung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Czapski in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Podgoreanu in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sami Zübeyr in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silviu Lung saved -BZF- Viper eSports from getting behind. FC Maci -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rudolf Dombi in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on FC Maci -MM-'s corner Rudolf Dombi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silviu Lung quite easily take care of the ball. Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Sami Zübeyr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silviu Lung read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silviu Lung was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viper eSports's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Zübeyr came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sami Zübeyr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute, Sami Zübeyr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maci -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Gelu Bâru replaced Dieter Nisipeanu. FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Neacșu in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Neacșu in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Sami Zübeyr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silviu Lung. -BZF- Viper eSports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sami Zübeyr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manole Pâslaru. -BZF- Viper eSports's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
