Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Visti Hjelmstoft kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Traian Traian. Calistrat Madgearu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Traian Traian's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Banu came free, but Andrei Oloieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Traian Traian. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Traian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Ivan Vâtcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Traian in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Oloieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Oloieru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Banu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nicodim Orășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tiberiu Caramarin came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the MIT Craiova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Caramarin couldn't finish the play. Andrei Oloieru came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin. But to his dismay, Tiberiu Caramarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to MIT Craiova getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Florin Seremet hit a great ball. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Andrei Oloieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Maranhense came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Maranhense scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Calistrat Madgearu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrei Oloieru made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mihăiţă Ilarie sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 73rd minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Andrei Oloieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tiberiu Caramarin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrei Oloieru was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. MIT Craiova's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. Fotbal Club Vaslui made a substitution. Feliberto Rito replaced Visti Hjelmstoft. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fotbal Club Vaslui's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bogdan Bucataru was slow to take the kick. During this time MIT Craiova's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that David Tunander got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andrei Oloieru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Calistrat Madgearu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurinho Maranhense went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. MIT Craiova made a substitution. Aurel Buzea replaced Florin Seremet. Fotbal Club Vaslui made a substitution. Toader Muncelean replaced Cosmin Bocșan. After a rather tough play, MIT Craiova's Aurel Buzea got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Maranhense in the 88th minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes MIT Craiova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Aanicăi who took care of the corner kick. Maurinho Maranhense was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. David Tunander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Andrei Oloieru made a huge save. After 94 played minutes MIT Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Vâtcă. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurinho Maranhense in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calistrat Madgearu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fotbal Club Vaslui's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
