Patrick Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Abdelbassir Cestarolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner. Jerônimo Vergílio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jerônimo Vergílio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cestarolli FC's Reynaldo Cestarolli did a great save. Reynaldo Cestarolli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cavalera, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Reynaldo Cestarolli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cavalera in the 24th minute of play. Abdelbassir Cestarolli took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alysson Rezende. Alysson Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 30th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Ogro F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cestarolli FC:s goal. Cestarolli FC's Reynaldo Cestarolli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cavalera in the 43rd minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cestarolli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Cestarolli FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerônimo Vergílio took the corner. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelbassir Cestarolli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Cestarolli came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera. But to his dismay, Igor Cavalera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Abdelbassir Cestarolli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alysson Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson de Mendonça went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Cestarolli FC defense, Nicko McBrain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Cestarolli. The Cestarolli FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Cestarolli should have stopped the shot. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Marco Minnemann replaced Igor Cavalera. In the 89th minute, Abdelbassir Cestarolli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alysson Rezende was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Alex Van Halen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Abdelbassir Cestarolli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alysson Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match, Nicko McBrain tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reynaldo Cestarolli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ogro F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cestarolli FC.
