Spectators: 400 (Terracing: 301, Seating: 92, VIP seats: 7) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Matei Blaga kicked off to start the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Matei Blaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iosif Maniu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Simionescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Matei Blaga came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bogdan Gurgui could save by the left post. Martin Poenaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luca Bacanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bogdan Gurgui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Gurgui made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Matei Blaga sent off a good shot on target. Iosif Maniu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Arghir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihail Tomozei took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iosif Maniu. Iosif Maniu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 44 minutes of play, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Matei Blaga made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Gurgui was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half F.C.BARLAD were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Arghir to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Ernest Dumitru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Gurgui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the -BZF- Chimia Buzau defense, Ferdinand Simionescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iosif Maniu. The -BZF- Chimia Buzau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iosif Maniu should have stopped the shot. Bogdan Gurgui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Bacanu in the 56th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goalkeeper Iosif Maniu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihăiţă Călin. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Nechifor Dorineanu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Edgar Arghir could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Iosif Maniu however easily saved by the left post. In the 72nd minute, Valentin Plopșor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iosif Maniu. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 76th minute Valentin Plopșor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Maniu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Aliuta struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Iosif Maniu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.BARLAD. Ferdinand Simionescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Iosif Maniu made a huge save. F.C.BARLAD's Mihăiţă Călin suffered a concussion after 83 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Poenaru during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. F.C.BARLAD made a substitution. Felix Anton replaced Mihăiţă Călin. Ferdinand Simionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Daniel Dacian got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ferdinand Simionescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C.BARLAD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
