Iurie Cocoș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Mihele in the 17th minute of the match. Emil Bărnuțiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dan Năstase. 35 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Nicolaescu came free, but Iurie Cocoș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Juventus Țiu's Cezar Nicolaescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iurie Cocoș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 38 minutes into the game, Daniel Mihele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Iurie Cocoș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juventus Țiu's Edgar Urderean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Țiu from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Juventus Țiu getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alexandru Chiriloaie hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Țiu's zone, Dan Năstase stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Urderean came out of the goal and Dan Năstase tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorin Popeneciu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Surugiu to maneuver through the defense. After 52 played minutes, Juventus Țiu's Rareș Lipan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iurie Cocoș came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventus Țiu reached it. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Vali Surugiu hit a great ball. Daniel Mihele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Chirculescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Edgar Urderean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Dănănae to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Chirculescu scored 2-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Urderean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Juventus Țiu's Rareș Lipan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Avram Ortacu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Emil Bărnuțiu managed to get in a good position for a shot.
