Teobaldo Milian started the match with the kick off. In the 15th minute Godofredo Arixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Milian did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Evaristo Tabby 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Carmelo Theobald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LACELESTEYBLANCA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. In the 25th minute, Carmelo Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético Atlanta's Teobaldo Milian got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Gaskon in the 34th minute of the match. Pedro Rojelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Anacleto Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Tabby having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when LACELESTEYBLANCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rene Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the game, LACELESTEYBLANCA's Godofredo Arixo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Oihenarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Teobaldo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Carmelo Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LACELESTEYBLANCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Theobald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. When Teobaldo Milian came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Milian couldn't finish the play. Ciriaco Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Pedro Rojelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Tabby having to make a save. After 90 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Teobaldo Milian made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Tabby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teobaldo Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
