After 4 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Guter. In the 5th minute of the match Dante Toribio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Oihenarte skillfully saved the ball. In the 10th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Pepe Ordaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Oihenarte having to interfere. Aquiles Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Ordaz in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Roman Resto hit a great ball. Aquiles Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Sengrat in the 19th minute of play. Astor Bero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Teobaldo Milian made a precise shot to the right of Astor Bero. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Astor Bero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Astor Bero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Rojelio in the 37th minute. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Salvador Honesto hit a great ball. Dante Toribio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Astor Bero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Rojelio in the 42nd minute. Astor Bero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anacleto Admon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Milian made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Aquiles Oihenarte threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elias Sengrat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 53 minutes into the match, Pedro Rojelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Bero. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Rojelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 56 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pedro Rojelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Bero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 60 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pedro Rojelio made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Bero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atlético Atlanta's Pedro Rojelio got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Severiano Bento got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Rene Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ defense, Pedro Rojelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Bero. The ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Bero should have stopped the shot. If Pedro Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Astor Bero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Rojelio in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Artemio Jaunti seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Artemio Jaunti the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atlético Atlanta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Artemio Jaunti had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 94 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Club Atlético Atlanta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
