Dražen Ladić had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Fabian Guter's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Artemio Jaunti hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pedro Rojelio got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ante Rebić in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Oihenarte saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Ante Rebić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Oihenarte having to interfere. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Aquiles Oihenarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, one of Spams:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Spams. After 22 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Guter. Ante Rebić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ante Rebić in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Guter to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pascual Tonio hit a great ball. Severino Huly hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Spams's Enzo Berart was substituted for Gualterio Veto. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
