The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8thth minute of the game Teobaldo Milian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Teobaldo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte got control of the ball when Elias Palos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anacleto Admon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Lauaxeta came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Anacleto Admon. But to his dismay, Anacleto Admon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Brion in the 28th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Aquiles Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Salvador Honesto hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Jonas Brion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Rojelio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte got control of the ball when Elias Palos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octavio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Milian in the 45th minute of the match. The Simbo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Atlanta were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Brion to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Brion in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Oihenarte saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. With a little luck, Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta got control of the ball when Teobaldo Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octavio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Admon in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Simbo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Guter was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Atlanta's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Anacleto Admon heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 61 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Belasko came free, but Aquiles Oihenarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Milian might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavio Lauaxeta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Milian ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogelio Gombal took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Oihenarte. Aquiles Oihenarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aquiles Oihenarte came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Simbo FC's Elias Palos. But to his dismay, Elias Palos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Segundo Neron fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simbo FC's protests and gave Segundo Neron a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Paolo Rumaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Fabian Guter sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta didn't even have to move. Aquiles Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Gombal in the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Simbo FC had won after a very even match.
