Costin Giugiuc made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Jeronimo Vito sent off a good shot on target. Coronel Bergamini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Mederi's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Aurelio Mederi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Coronel Bergamini. Jeronimo Vito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Costin Giugiuc made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Vito got free with Costin Giugiuc in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costin Giugiuc was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Jeronimo Vito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeronimo Vito really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Aurelio Mederi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Coronel Bergamini. Coronel Bergamini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jeronimo Vito hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Costică Chiriloaie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Coronel Bergamini was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute of the match A.C. Milan got a corner. River Ctes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. A.C. Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Ctes the free kick. Emil Gheară hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Coronel Bergamini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Mederi in the 31st minute of play. Coronel Bergamini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Chiriloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.C. A collision led to River Ctes getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Jeronimo Vito hit a great ball. The River Ctes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A.C. Milan were winning 1-4.

Coronel Bergamini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Zdrăilă in the 52nd minute of play. A.C. Milan's Aurelio Mederi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 57 minutes, Aurelio Mederi made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. River Ctes's Coronel Bergamini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Mederi in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Coronel Bergamini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 73rdth minute of the game Aurelio Mederi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Ctes's Coronel Bergamini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horea Berca scored 1-7 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Coronel Bergamini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Coronel Bergamini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Mederi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Coronel Bergamini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costică Chiriloaie went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. When Higinio Fanuco fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Ctes's protests and gave Higinio Fanuco a yellow card for diving instead. If Aurelio Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, A.C. Milan's Costică Chiriloaie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Coronel Bergamini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by River Ctes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurelio Mederi was slow to take the kick. During this time A.C. Milan's players had a chance to rest.
