This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Xavion Ponga as he didn't even see the shot coming. Costin Giugiuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Cobian, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Dumitru Zdrăilă scored 2-5 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xavion Ponga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A.C. Milan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
