The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Mustafa got free with Frank Frankfurter in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mustafa Arif Korcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 22nd minute of play. If Günther Doty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kjell Mattsson made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lucjan Falkiewicz. In the 31st minute of the game Kjell Mattsson made a throw-in which Lucjan Falkiewicz played forward. Sergio Mustafa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Frank Frankfurter made a huge save. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Yuan Ting Chao with Lucjan Falkiewicz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Günther Doty in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Arif Korcan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Sergio Mustafa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Günther Doty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 67th minute, Salvador Romano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Salvador Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Frankfurter having to interfere. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Su Jian Jie quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Petter Danielsson, made in the 79th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Nikola in the 83rd minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
