An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Porfiro in the 9th minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Roman Vachon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfredi AFC's Roman Vachon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Porfiro in the 10th minute of play. Maurício Bomba was a little too slow when Aristides Cesaro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 14th minute, Zeledon Savion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Vachon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 19 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Savion came free, but Roman Vachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Vachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Errando in the 24th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Alvaro Errando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Vachon. Manfredi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Errando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 27th minute Filomeno Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC LeX Luthor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kieran Listkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Manfredi AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Kieran Listkowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC LeX Luthor's Maurício Bomba did a great save. In the 33rd minute Zeledon Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Vachon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Manfredi AFC booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Errando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the AC LeX Luthor defense, Son Banana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Bomba. The AC LeX Luthor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Bomba should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Errando in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Vachon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Son Banana came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC LeX Luthor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
