Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietro Salles in the 9th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pietro Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Salles in the 18th minute of play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gu Chang Peng got free with Nicasio Abad in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Saturno came free, but Aldo Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gu Chang Peng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pietro Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Mannie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Mannie was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pietro Salles made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Mateo Lalla made a throw-in which Cirilo Oriche played forward. 61 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldo Mannie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Peter Blomkvist was substituted for Pietro Salles. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Mateo Lalla with Joel Tehas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 68th minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s William Lebigot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aldo Mannie. Aldo Mannie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Ripa FC made a substitution. Ricardo Bochini replaced Joel Tehas. Aldo Mannie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 75th minute. The supporters of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ booed when Ripa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Lalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Lalla. In the 81st minute of the match, William Lebigot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aldo Mannie was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Pero in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 88th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Ricardo Bochini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
