Fulgencio Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the VILLARREAL UNITED defense, Isidro Oliviero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baraxil Sarrate. The VILLARREAL UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baraxil Sarrate should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Alvaro Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Valentin Voicu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulgencio Eyague. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Valentin Voicu sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Voicu took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Eyague. Fulgencio Eyague dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Isidro Oliviero might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baraxil Sarrate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidro Oliviero ran back to his position shaking his head. Baraxil Sarrate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Oliviero, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Baraxil Sarrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VILLARREAL UNITED's Alonzo Egun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Otto Tenno in the 38 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 42nd minute of play forced VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Baraxil Sarrate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Errando to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, VILLARREAL UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Corral to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Mario Yepes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraxil Sarrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baraxil Sarrate made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Isidro Oliviero sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Baraxil Sarrate successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Baraxil Sarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Valentin Voicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Eyague was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Peep Pronk replaced Isidro Oliviero. In the 66th minute VILLARREAL UNITED were awarded a corner. Florian Pruss went to the cornerflag to take it. Florian Pruss made a great header on VILLARREAL UNITED's corner, it was just that AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague managed to reach the ball for a save. VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 69th minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Voicu went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. AC LeX Luthor's Pedro Lucas was substituted for Alvaro Errando. In the 77th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. VILLARREAL UNITED's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Lucas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AC LeX Luthor's corner Pedro Lucas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baraxil Sarrate quite easily take care of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Baraxil Sarrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the AC LeX Luthor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VILLARREAL UNITED.
