The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robustiano Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Amanao AFC's Emiliano Asur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Amanao AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Rico got free with Emiliano Asur in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robustiano Rico's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emiliano Asur firmly grabbed it by the left post. Silverio Dei was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Amanao AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Evelio Tabb kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Evelio Tabb was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, River Ctes's Evelio Tabb got a free kick in the 89th minute. Jūlijs Vadziss short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Pascual Berdaitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jūlijs Vadzis in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Berdaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Amanao AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
