With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yoto Boshikyov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Diniz in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yoto Boshikyov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcus Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Yoto Boshikyov made a huge save. With his leg Yoto Boshikyov managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcus Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dênis Faria. In the 23rdth minute of the game Marcus Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Dênis Faria made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yoto Boshikyov was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, 12 Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Diniz came free, but Yoto Boshikyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Umberto Peres hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Diniz in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoto Boshikyov saved 12 Monkeys from getting behind. After a rather tough play, 12 Monkeys's Jarl Resting got a free kick in the 35th minute. Marcus Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Dênis Faria made a precise shot to the right of Yoto Boshikyov. 12 Monkeys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Diniz in the 43rd minute of play forced 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Diniz in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoto Boshikyov saved 12 Monkeys from getting behind. Goiás Esporte Clube's Valdir Neves was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yoto Boshikyov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov got control of the ball when Marcus Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Umberto Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 51 minutes into the game, Goiás Esporte Clube's Umberto Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yoto Boshikyov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Peres in the 58th minute of play. Yoto Boshikyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Diniz in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yoto Boshikyov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Yoto Boshikyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of 12 Monkeys booed when Goiás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Davi Isac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yoto Boshikyov was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Goiás Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
