Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brogan Myler started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Maluleke FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Thomas Webb hit a great ball. Maluleke FC's Meshack Tshabalala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brogan Myler in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Lesego Bandura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blake Taylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Takalani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Francis Fortuin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brogan Myler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brogan Myler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Meshack Tshabalala came out and tried to block the shot, but Brogan Myler slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. If Brogan Myler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bearach Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Maluleke FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nelson Tembe hit a great ball. Blake Taylor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thabo Mathibe in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Maluleke FC's goalkeeper Meshack Tshabalala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bearach Duggan. In the 33rdth minute of the game Brogan Myler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maluleke FC's Meshack Tshabalala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Maluleke FC's Thabo Mathibe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blake Taylor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Alfred Takalani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francis Fortuin hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Scothine Grant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derryfrench's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scothine Grant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bearach Duggan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The Derryfrench fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Derryfrench's Brogan Myler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bearach Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Meshack Tshabalala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meshack Tshabalala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brogan Myler in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute Bearach Duggan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meshack Tshabalala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derryfrench's Blake Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thabo Mathibe in the 71st minute of play. Bearach Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Rownun McPeter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thabo Mathibe in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blake Taylor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bearach Duggan took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meshack Tshabalala. Meshack Tshabalala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 87 played minutes Maluleke FC got a freekick which was hit by Lesego Bandura. Brann McGlynn hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Derryfrench's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
