Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Petardo Futebol e Surf's Flavio Silviano got control of the ball when Kristoffer Kildeskov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Petardo Futebol e Surf's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joseph Edman was slow to take the kick. During this time 12 Monkeys's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to 12 Monkeys's Isaias Frutos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Kristoffer Kildeskov came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the 12 Monkeys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristoffer Kildeskov couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Hermes during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Petardo Futebol e Surf getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Oscar Hermes hit a great ball. If Kristoffer Kildeskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Silviano made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Joseph Edman sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Petardo Futebol e Surf's Jefferson Donato got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes in the game, Markus Berglund fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Flavio Silviano having to interfere. Markus Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Silviano having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Markus Berglund was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Jefferson Donato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoto Boshikyov was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristoffer Kildeskov during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes 12 Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Kildeskov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Kildeskov in the 58th minute of play forced Petardo Futebol e Surf's goalkeeper Flavio Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yoto Boshikyov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jefferson Donato in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Markus Berglund notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Petardo Futebol e Surf's Flavio Silviano. Flavio Silviano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Telmo Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoto Boshikyov having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Donato. In the 78th minute, Kristoffer Kildeskov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 Monkeys's Rupert Grimstrup was substituted for Feliciano Tajo. Flavio Silviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Edman in the 81st minute of play. Flavio Silviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Edman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Silviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Kildeskov in the 90th minute of the match. Joseph Edman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Silviano having to interfere.
