In the 5th minute of the match Bänknötarnas BK got a corner. 12 Monkeys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Ubarna ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Bänknötarnas BK's corner Marcos Ubarna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yoto Boshikyov quite easily take care of the ball. Kent Gunnarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Yoto Boshikyov made a huge save. Yoto Boshikyov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 8th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. A collision led to 12 Monkeys getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. The tension between the Bänknötarnas BK and the 12 Monkeys players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored 12 Monkeys's protests and gave Isaias Frutos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, 12 Monkeys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Frutos to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Sven Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 Monkeys's Isaias Frutos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vilhelm Wik in the 52 minute of the game. In the 53rdth minute of the game Sven Göransson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Bänknötarnas BK fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Bänknötarnas BK's Sven Göransson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yoto Boshikyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Göransson in the 55th minute of the match. Princs Peach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoto Boshikyov having to interfere. Franz Karms made in the 71st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isaias Frutos however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Edman got free with Kurt Björk in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Sigvart Botlev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Bänknötarnas BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while 12 Monkeys had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
