Mateo Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Rossi in the 38th minute of play. Mateo Mergildo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi. But to his dismay, Paolo Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half Montesacro FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hette Visscher was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Paolo Rossi took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Mateo Mergildo to make any attempt to save it. Loco Palermo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Mateo Mergildo made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Rossi in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Mergildo saved a k l p j f c a from getting behind. Paolo Rossis short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Mateo Mergildo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mateo Mergildo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paolo Rossi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 71 minute of play. The supporters of Montesacro FC booed when a k l p j f c a was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinon Moustogiannis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
