Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florencio Ferran started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo booed when Húsares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Ted didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Trasloseros to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Chinto in the 13th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Húsares's zone, Celso Trasloseros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Quintyn came out of the goal and Celso Trasloseros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Florencio Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Gasteiz Latorre notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Húsares's Fabio Quintyn. Fabio Quintyn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Chinto came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Tomás Chinto scored to the left of an out of position Jeremy Avellana, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Celso Trasloseros hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Húsares's Florencio Ferran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremy Avellana. Jeremy Avellana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fabio Quintyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthon Öberg in the 55th minute. Húsares's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Anthon Öberg scored to the left of an out of position Fabio Quintyn, making the score, 2-2. Anthon Öberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Quintyn having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Ferran in the 61st minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Trasloseros, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Fabio Quintyn made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Anthon Öberg sent off a good shot on target. Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon was substituted for Florencio Ferran. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Chinto in the 72nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Maksymilian Wydrych got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeremy Avellana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anthon Öberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Quintyn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Teobaldo Ibon might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremy Avellana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Ibon ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ibon in the 88th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Teobaldo Ibon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Teobaldo Ibon put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremy Avellana. The audience was convinced that Anthon Öberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Quintyn was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd minute of the match Club Dep. Soc. Rodo got a corner. Húsares's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guto Pirani ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeremy Avellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Ibon in the 96th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo defense, Teobaldo Ibon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremy Avellana. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremy Avellana should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Húsares.
