The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when Copetonas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Txindoki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Cristian Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Muchachos del 86's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Urtzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Cordairo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ricardo-Enrique Bochini sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pompiliu Ciutacu in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atahan Balon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Copetonas AFC's Marcelo Cordairo got control of the ball when Ricardo-Enrique Bochini tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Muchachos del 86's Albino Peruanton got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno da Mata in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Balon saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. Pompiliu Ciutacu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Atahan Balon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Soon in the 47th minute of play forced Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saverio Brion to strike the kick off in the second half. Pompiliu Ciutacu in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Atahan Balon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcelo Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asiz Soon, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Copetonas AFC's Marcelo Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Soon in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno da Mata in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Balon saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo-Enrique Bochini came free, but Marcelo Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breno da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Copetonas AFC's Lucio Fagildo was substituted for Fabio Gimenez. Los Muchachos del 86's Szymon Szkaradek was substituted for Asiz Soon. Los Muchachos del 86's Damian Honesto was substituted for Saverio Brion. Marcelo Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Bencivenni in the 94th minute of play. The Copetonas AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Copetonas AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
