An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Angel in the 18th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toro Martínez in the 22nd minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toro Martínez to strike the kick off in the second half. The score was now 2-1. 86 minutes into the game, Emiliano Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Lev Yashin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Conjunto Paisa defense, Dinu Ivănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lev Yashin. The Conjunto Paisa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lev Yashin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 96th minute of play forced Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despidida AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
