In the 9th minute Edward Chaniago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frans Laine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Romeu Alagoano made in the 26th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Frans Laine immediately put the ball in play. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 47th minute of the match. GreenUnited's Joao Zuazo was substituted for Max Farr. GreenUnited made a substitution. Michalis Kourtis replaced Daniel Dănilă. In the 49th minute ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner. GreenUnited's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Prosperi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Branislav Velchevski came out and tried to block the shot, but Max Stevens slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA defense, Max Stevens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branislav Velchevski. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branislav Velchevski should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Venancio Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GreenUnited's Edward Chaniago got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frans Laine's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frans Laine helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Laine to maneuver through the defense. GreenUnited's Max Stevens got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis got a free kick in the 94th minute.
