Gil Motta started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Vasco FC's Gil Motta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Vasco FC's Tiago Gabriel Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th play minute Tiago Gabriel Mesquita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Horea Hurmuzache. 3-0. Emanuel Ardeleanu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Motta came free, but Horea Hurmuzache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Șerban Damian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Wellington Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vasco FC's Jerônimo Severo got a free kick in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gil Motta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horea Hurmuzache. That made the score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Gabriel Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Liviu Găvan got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Dedê Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Jonas Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Tiago Gabriel Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horea Hurmuzache came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Dedê Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vasco FC booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Greblă didn't get a good kick on the ball. When David Greblă fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave David Greblă a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Jerônimo Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Bobocea. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Sever Colin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute Tiago Gabriel Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horea Hurmuzache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. Gil Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Horea Hurmuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DINAMO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
