With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Ortiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Adalberto Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Milian came free, but Abel Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Teobaldo Milian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adalberto Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Abel Ortiz was a little too slow when Teobaldo Milian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 45th minute, Fabian Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Wágner Tande got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adalberto Donato made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Adalberto Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brasiliense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilson Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Brasiliense FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Amílton Medeiros hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Teobaldo Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Medeiros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aquiles Oihenarte firmly grabbed it by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Donato came free, but Aquiles Oihenarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Adalberto Donato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With his leg Aquiles Oihenarte managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Brasiliense FC's Adalberto Donato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abel Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes Brasiliense FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Cabral. After 80 minutes, Teobaldo Milian made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brasiliense FC's Abel Ortiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adalberto Donato 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. In the 88th minute, Brasiliense FC's Amílton Medeiros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aquiles Oihenarte. Aquiles Oihenarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Abel Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Milian in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Club Atlético Atlanta were awarded a corner. Fabian Guter went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Club Atlético Atlanta's Fabian Guter to fire away a dangerous shot which Abel Ortiz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Anacleto Admon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brasiliense FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
