Inácio Penha charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inácio Penha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Vasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Penha to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harold Lloyd in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes Vasco FC got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Meireles. In the 30th minute, Luiz Fabiano Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wellington Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vasco FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jonas Veloso hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harold Lloyd in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Barbosa saved Vasco FC from getting behind. Douglas Fairbanks kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Motta to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gil Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Shawn Banks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kyle Connor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ethan Zamora came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Heavenly Hooters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ethan Zamora couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Shawn Banks put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wellington Barbosa. If Ethan Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Wellington Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harold Lloyd went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Gil Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kyle Connor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Harold Lloyd lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Wellington Barbosa. Wellington Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shawn Banks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denílson Ramalho during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wellington Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rdth minute of the game Harold Lloyd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vasco FC's Wellington Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heavenly Hooters played a much better game than Vasco FC and deserved their victory. The Vasco FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
