An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 20th minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Sergiu Rădescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Armada's goalkeeper Sergiu Rădescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Falcão Marques. 29 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Marques came free, but Sergiu Rădescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergiu Rădescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charles Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Mudura in the 35th minute of the match. When Mihăiţă Mudura fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armada's protests and gave Mihăiţă Mudura a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Falcão Marques was the one to do the kick off. In the 89th minute Adalberto Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Rădescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio Maciel came free, but Sergiu Rădescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armada's Sergiu Rădescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil dos Santos in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Armada had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
