Wilson Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Sarmento having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Falcão Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brasiliense FC's Abel Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil dos Santos in the 22nd minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Abel Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brasiliense FC's Abel Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Marques in the 27th minute of play. Abel Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Marques took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Ortiz. Abel Ortiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adalberto Donato was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Falcão Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Falcão Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Falcão Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Ortiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When Gil dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil dos Santos couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Hermínio Maciel got a free kick in the 76th minute. The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Falcão Marques in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Ortiz saved Brasiliense FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Falcão Marques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abel Ortiz. That made the score 0-3 in the 90 minute of play. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
