Chen Ao Fan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Chen Ao Fan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pankracy Glogowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Paolo Caradaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ronnie Hellström made a huge save. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Şevket Çağa hit a great ball. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 19th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Atlanta's Şevket Çağa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronnie Hellström. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. Skövde AIK's Ronnie Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 23rd minute of play. Chen Ao Fan struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK. In the 26th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Şevket Çağa made the kick off in the second half. Chen Ao Fan hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th play minute Chen Ao Fan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pankracy Glogowski. 1-2. Skövde AIK made a substitution. Jerry Williams replaced Kurt Hamrin. Egídio Fernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egídio Fernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skövde AIK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
